About Us

Instruction By Masters Was formed in March of 2002 for the purpose of providing high quality, low stress emergency healthcare training to the greater metropolitan Houston area and beyond. The owners Charles and Patricia Masters have extensive healthcare and educational experience in this field.
Charles Masters (RN-Ret)
Charles worked in emergency and critical care from 1980-2006 in various capacities. He has worked in ICU, ER, Telemetry, Respiratory Therapy, Interventional Radiology, and IV Therapy, as well as Diabetes Education. He is currently an instructor for Instruction By Masters in Electrocardiograph rhythm recognition, Basic Life Support, Heartsaver CPR, First-Aid, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Pat Masters RN BSN
It is with deep sadness that I have to inform our previous students that Pat Masters passed away in early September. Not only was she a superlative instructor as evidenced by the hundreds of students who returned every two years for their recertifications. But she was a steadfast and constant companion in our 48 years of marriage.
She is and will continue to be missed.
